　 　For me this homestay program is one of the best experiences in my life. I never thought before that I’ll join activities like this.
　　 Living with strangers with different language, culture, habits, and background. It’s very challenging, not everyone can feel and pass this wonderful experience, I’m very grateful. Even it’s just one month, I realized how precious the time is. Not just about the quantity of the time, but the most important thing is the quality of the time. In just one month we make new family, new friends, and new perspectives. I hope what I get from this journey does not just pass away but always imprinted in my heart and my mind. The most important thing is making me to better person.

　 　 A question that bring me to the reason why I came to Japan? A dream to have my own class, I imagine about happiness of my class. How the students can be happy and enjoy to discuss or learn something new every day with me. And this is the reason why I came here. And also, today I have small and warm discussion with Kajitani sensei, one of them is, why she becoming a teacher as her job. And the answer make me more impressed with her and also teacher in this school. She told me that becomes teacher is her dream. It’s not about money but happiness when seeing the students grows up everyday. They are very dedicated and passionate about teaching. Every day maybe they just have a little sleep, but they looks enjoy and have a great responsibility with their job. As I know, education does not happen suddenly, it is continue. And they taught me how being a great teacher for the students.

　　Throwback to two years ago after I came back from homestay, I did say that I will become the menthor. I didn’t have any idea about what menthor will do in the program. I just wanted to give back to next homestayer that as I have been changed during this program then I wanted to walk beside the next homestayer to get their moment too.
　　Being menthor? Being leader? Yes, that’s what they called me. I never expect that my choice to give my contribution back to GMB can make me realize that I’ve been changed a lot after two years ago. Sometimes I was doubt with my reckless decision to join and being absent within one month again in my last year university life. However, I keep saying to my self “this is worth, Ivan.You will find the new of you after this. You will be remembered as leader who leading your team to get their new perspectives and home in Japan”. I sent my spirit and close this diary as the one of the most memorable thing that I decided to join again in my life.
　　 I do believe that homestay program is not made to make us more love to other country. However, this the way for us to more love our country. I definitely will always remember about Japan, as the place that shaped me and changing me a lot.
